The start of every good design is a solid foundation. The foundation of the HVAC Design is the Construction Components Data. To produce extremely accurate Manual J, Manual S, Manual D, we require accurate information concerning the plans, insulation and window values, internal gains, ventilation, equipment to be used, etc. The following form will guide you through the complete process. There is a comment box at the end of every section in the form to enter any additional information you feel could be relevant to the design. The Remodels/Additions From has construction components entries for the existing section and new section of the project. This form also allows the description of windows instead of U-Value and SHGC values when they are not know.

Why do I have to enter in so much information?
We realize this seems to be a lot of information to enter. Please keep in mind it is all very important. The comfort of your home for years to come, is directly related to how accurate the initial design was done.
I do not have all the information yet. Can I still get a design done and submit for my permit?
Yes, you can. It will be your responsibility to send the updated information before the HVAC System is installed. There is a small charge for this service.
How long will it take to get my design?
Typical design turnaround is 5 days or less. After we receive your information we will send an email with completion date and price.
I only have PDF files and I cannot get AutoCAD Files. What happens then?
We draw the plans in AutoCAD for you. We truly believe this is the only way to design the system correctly. This is a service only offered by Authority Air Designs. There is an additional cost for this service.
